Monster Mini Golf is a growing chain of indoor miniature golf fun centers, where the added twist is the room is blackened-out and all of the unique golf hole challenges, animated monster characters and balls… all glow with bright neon colors!
And their newest location is targeting an April opening… in Cherry Hill! The actual location is a great one, along Springdale Road in the same building as the beloved Garden State Discovery Museum!
If you’ve visited the Garden State Discovery Museum over the last few months and walked around from the street side of the building, you’ve walked past where the new Monster Golf will be located! In our visit last week, we could only peek into the windows and could see framing in place for offices, but not into the main golf course.
More than golf
In our research we see there are a variety of fun features added on to each Monster Mini Golf location, and for the Cherry Hill location website page it lists “Two Private Party Rooms and Arcade”
Looking at the main website, we can see there are other New Jersey locations in Eatontown, Edison, Paramus, and Fairfield. This seems to be the first location in our close area.
Changing Business Park
In the 80-90s I worked for 14 years just one building over, for Yorkship Business Supply.. and it’s interesting to see how this business park has evolved over the years to include fun based businesses such as Monster Mini Golf, Garden State Discovery Museum, Forgotten Boardwalk Brewery, and Bury the Hatchet Axe Throwing! (I’ll be posting about these other businesses soon!)
We will have more on Monster Mini Golf as the get closer to opening… and hope to get a preview!

The video below is NOT the Cherry Hill location, but seems to be a good representation of what the inside of a typical Monster Golf looks like
