Sometimes you just need some good comfort food. Like when living through a pandemic, with social distancing and dining restrictions in place, mix in a tense political season, and throw in holiday stress for good measure.
Yeah, we all need a cookie.

Good news on that front, as Downtown Cookies is coming to Haddonfield. Located at 123 East Kings Highway in downtown Haddonfield, Downtown Cookies will occupy the right half of what was formerly part of the English Gardener Gift Shop. The English Gardener has shrunk its footprint, occupying just the left half of the location, to make way for cookies.

Haddonfield resident Morgan Falasca brings her dreams and passion to this new store, hoping to create a place that reflects the store slogan: “Home is where the cookies are.” The goal is to create a shop where the customers instantly feel the warmth and welcoming faces of Morgan’s home away from home. Each cookie in named after someone special from her life, such as the Queen Lisa (chocolate chip) named after her mother.

Ms Falasca hopes to open the store by mid December. Baking will be done on premises, and you will be able to enjoy your purchase with a cup of La Colombe coffee or tea. Cookies can be shipped nationwide, or will be hand-delivered to surrounding towns (Cherry Hill, Moorestown, Collingswood, Audubon, etc). Cookies will be available in gift boxes as well, perfect as the holidays approach!

We can’t wait for this to open!
