The exact location for proposed cannabis dispensary is Ramblewood Shopping Center at 1155 Route 73.
This is a well populated area for residents, businesses and hotel travelers, with excellent road access from 73 to the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 295.
Looking at the documents available at the Mt Laurel website, the dispensary will be located NEXT to the convenience store.
The convenience store juts out in from of the shopping center, and then that very next small store space soemwhat in the corner, in line with the row of stores.. is where Daylite would like to open their dispensary.
The business use meets the zoning for the property.
The key zoning request variance is that the proposed business property is 70 feet short of the required buffer needed to the nearest residential use.
Daylite Cannabis LLC received their NJ State Class 5 Cannabis license on May 25, 2022.
In the fall of 2020, Mt Laurel denied an application from Curaleaf for a medical dispensary on the site of a former Giant Fitness. That denial held and the property has since become a car wash.
