Bed Bath & Beyond Closing in Mount Laurel

Bed Bath & Beyond Closing in Mount Laurel
Reading Time: 2 minutes

The Bed Bath & Beyond store in Mount Laurel Centerton Square Shopping center is slated to close as part of cost cutting moves by the parent company. Cherry Hill, Marlton and Deptford to remain OPEN

The news of the cost cutting moves were announced yesterday by the parent company, but the list of specific locations impacted was just made available today.

We have gotten our information from the list published at the company’s website (PDF)

A location in Mays landing also made the list of 87 locations across three brands that are closing.

The Deptford location of Bed Bath & Beyond will remain open.  It is located in an 8 year old building designed to house all four of the brands which the parent company owned at the time.

As part of the cost cutting moves all Harmon Face Values stores are closing, which would include the one in that Deptford building.

The timing of the closures for any of the stores has not been announced.

I have not had a chance to visit the Mount Laurel store, but at the Deptford Harmon Face Values store the signage announcing the closing is already up today, and they are offering a 20% off discount.

Bed Bath & Beyond Mount Laurel

The Mount Laurel Bed Bath & Beyond store is located to the left of Target and Wegmans.

With the news breaking just a few hours ago I have not had a chance to visit the Mount Laurel store but I would expect that they will be open for several more weeks with store close-out sales.

As mentioned the bed bath and beyond store was in the Centerton Square shopping center, which is located along Route 38 in the area where it crosses route 295.

Centerton Square has developed into a powerhouse shopping center featuring top shopping and entertainment destinations such as Wegmans supermarket and Topgolf.

Last year we were the first to report that the former TGI Friday’s restaurant was going to reopen as Tommy’s Tavern and Tap.  They are currently working on the remodel there.

Earlier in January we reported that a Bath and Body Works was coming to the same building as Bed Bath & Beyond… planned literally to be next to each other.

Likely Bed Bath & Beyond will be close before Bath and Body Works opens.

Bath and Body Works is coming to Centerton Square Shopping Center, while Bed Bath and Beyond is closing their location next door.
